SVA Initiative 2023/24

Our SVA initiative helps to provide funding to help send the next generation of Valiants in our place, given most of our members now reside overseas. During the 22/23 season, we as a group decided to pursue and fund two separate initiatives. This last year we decided to help Pro Level Academy as well as encouraging supporters of the future.

With a view to supporting a Port Vale “Player of the Future”, we partnered with Tom Conlon and Nathan Smith’s Pro Level Academy. Tom and Nathan are both local born players who have gone on to play over 450 first team games for port vale between them.

They also set up Pro Level Academy to offer specialised football coaching, enabling anybody to access academy standard coaching no matter who you are. They are firm believers that development is accelerated in a fun, safe and respectful environment.

Super Vale Abroad provided £500 to help purchase equipment to support the continued growth of Pro Level Academy. A huge well done and thank you to both for providing a fantastic opportunity for children from in the Staffordshire area.

As per previous years, Super Vale Abroad provided children with Junior Valiant memberships at the Wycombe home game. Sixteen lucky children were given a guided tour of Vale Park, a home shirt and a JV+ membership each.

A cheque for £480 was presented pitchside to the Port Vale Foundation who facilitated the day’s events.

Thanks everyone,
